About Joe Neid
Joe Neid is that rare individual who earned his stripes the
old fashioned way; through, focus, diligence, persistence,
tenacity and “roll up your sleeves” get r' done style no nonsense
hard work. He has over 15 years experience in free enterprise,
direct sales and network marketing.
Joe spent 10 years in the big time entertainment business
as an independent theatrical lighting designer and personal
road manager when he came to a fork in the road. Either be
prepared to live on the road forever (they call them “road
dogs”) or make a move into the “real” world. The real world
seemed like a refreshing change after all of those years on
a tour bus. Well, Joe took a J.O.B. and within weeks he came
to the frightening realization that he is “psychologically
unemployable; a totally unmanageable employee”; he began freaking
out and exploring other ways to pay the freight.
Well it did not take him long to see that there are truly
only two options in the “real” business world:
- You are either in free enterprise
or
- You are working for someone who is
Joe began his journey into the world of the self employed
in the most peculiar of all places for a music guy to be…..the
insurance business. (This is another story for another day)
He did however attain very significant results; he began his
agency in his garage sitting in a lawn chair and using a snack
tray for a desk, and developed a $2,000,000 book of business
within 24 months. Life and business partnerships have a way
of, well….lets just say things did not work out as well as
Joe had hoped.
Time to start over; “no problem” thought Joe, “I am tough,
I am resilient”. Good thing; because he went through another
2 start-ups and a stint as a loan officer for a mortgage company
and after 2 years was feeling “out of gas” when he saw the
ad in a national news paper. You know the one… work
form home, executive level income; fire your boss , etc,
etc.
He was hooked, only problem was he was broke. No,
he was flat broke , over due on the rent, gas heat
had been disconnected phone was turned off and electric was
getting shut off in a week.
Time to get focused.
Joe borrowed the funds to turn on the phone and get started
in Network Marketing and got busy. By staying focused, no;
extremely focused and not allowing anything to impede his progress,
in his first 30 days/full time he earned over 10,000 bucks
and paid those loans off. Sounds rosy doesn't it? Well, hold
on a minute, actually his journey has had many ups and downs
and he has learned a ton about what it takes to not only get
to the top, but to stay at the top. His experience is unique
in that he has been involved in the industry at all levels. Frightened
newbie, qualifying distributor, top dog earner, top dog earner
who has stumbled and had to rebuild ; Joe has also worked
at the corporate level for 3 direct sales/networking marketing
companies as a marketing executive and as a national sales
trainer, working hands on with many of the top earners in the
industry today. Most recently he was the architect of the system
that took a company from “squeaking by” to nearly 20 million
per year in revenues; in less than 24 months.
And the most exciting thing is that Joe will tell you he is just
getting started!
